Rob Davis discovered skateboarding around 16 years old in Texas where I grew up. My friends were watching the VHS of Flip Sorry, I saw Geoff Rowley’s part and was immediately hooked. I got my first board soon after and I was obsessed. From then till the time I left for the military that’s all I thought about. After the military I picked up the board again and casually would skate, but not consistently due to starting a family. During covid I really dove back into it and have been cruising ever since. Skateboarding is a huge part of me. It has blessed me with friends, community from all walks of life, a way to express myself, and overall freedom from everyday reality. My passion for skateboarding will never fade.
